The car comes with an extensively detailed story that traces back to a past in remote WA before arriving in Perth in the 1980s and getting an extensive overhaul, repaint and a crate engine from Belgium. In 1993 the car underwent an 8-months restoration, under the constant supervision of a life-long Land Rover technician which also serviced the car periodically until his retirement in 2016.
